Why We Started The Signal Guys
The Signal Guys was set up to solve a problem we kept seeing in larger properties and older homes: Wi-Fi that doesn’t reach where it should, thick walls that block coverage, and security systems that feel either overcomplicated or poorly installed.
Too often, properties were being fitted with quick fixes — boosters, consumer cameras, or generic kits — that didn’t suit the building or the way people actually live in it.
We started The Signal Guys to do things properly. By combining strong technical knowledge with hands-on installation experience, we design systems that work reliably across the whole property — and install them neatly, with care and attention to detail.
Our focus is on clear advice, considered design, and professional installation, using modern systems that are built to be relied upon and supported long-term.
Who We Are
Through hands-on experience with UniFi Protect and UniFi networking equipment, we’ve seen first-hand how powerful these systems can be when they’re designed and installed properly.
What excites us is being able to showcase what modern systems are capable of — and helping clients actually make use of those features in a way that’s reliable, easy to understand, and built to grow over time.
UniFi offers a well-designed ecosystem of products covering Wi-Fi, CCTV and networking, all working together on a single platform. We actively encourage clients to explore the UniFi product range themselves, because it’s a system that can go a long way — expanding and evolving as needs change.
Our role is to take that technology and make it accessible. We design systems that go beyond basic Wi-Fi boosters or consumer-grade cameras, using proper cabling, well-positioned access points, and high-quality equipment that’s designed to be relied upon.
